Downtown towers and Purple Line work
Downtown Silver Spring keeps rising, with residential towers and office rehabs stacking crews on tight lots off Fenton Street and Wayne Avenue. We place flushing units and handwashing stations inside the site fence where the general contractor directs and run frequent service for the headcount working many floors.
The Purple Line construction along Wayne and Bonifant threads through active streets, so we set units clear of the work zone and the sidewalk; where placement touches the public right-of-way we note the county may require a permit and coordinate the exact spot.
Ellsworth Drive festivals and the AFI crowd
The downtown festivals along Ellsworth Drive, film nights at the AFI Silver, and races that loop past the civic building all draw crowds the fixed restrooms can't absorb. We map standard and ADA units with handwashing stations to the stage, food and entry areas so foot traffic keeps flowing on a busy evening.
For a street fair that fills the plaza, we set additional banks at the far corners and return to service the busiest ones mid-event, so the crowd near the music never has to wait through a headline set.
Sligo Creek edge and downtown access
Away from the core, the older neighborhoods off Colesville and Piney Branch drop toward Sligo Creek, where the ground stays soft after rain. We keep units on the firm, higher edges of a yard or lot, stake them against summer storms, and favor a driveway when a week turns wet.
For downtown drops we time the delivery for the quieter hours so the truck stays out of the rush along Georgia Avenue, and on a secured build we arrange an access window so the pump truck slips in without slowing the gate.
